Academy Director’s Greetings

Minimally Invasive Implant Treatment is the future direction
of implant treatment.

Modern implantology has undergone remarkable developments, and various techniques have been developed for patients with alveolar bone conditions, and successful implant treatments are possible in any clinical situation.

However, patient discomfort due to gingiva and alveolar bone damages that occur during implant treatment is an unavoidable reality in the Brånemark type implant, which takes bone-centered treatment.

Now the direction of implant treatment should be changed to minimizing the damage on gingiva and alveolar bone during surgery, and the treatment method should be developed in a simpler and easier way as well.

In such perspective, minimally invasive implant treatment is the future direction of implant treatment.
